How do I use this program?

Follow these steps

  1. 1Read each question presented on screen.
  2. 2Press RECORD to start recording your answer.
  3. 3Speak your answer out loud.
  4. 4When you have finished speaking, press STOP.
  5. 5Repeat from step 1 for the next question.
  6. 6Work through Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3 in order to finish the mock.

IELTS Speaking — Part 1 (conversation)

In Part 1, the examiner asks you questions about yourself and everyday subjects such as your family, hometown, work or studies, hobbies and interests, and plans for the future. Part 1 takes 4–5 minutes. Your response to each question should be around 30–45 seconds.

IELTS Speaking — Part 2 (presentation)

In Part 2, you give a short talk for 1–2 minutes on a topic card provided by the examiner. You have one minute to plan and make notes before you start speaking. Part 2 takes 3–4 minutes in total.

IELTS Speaking — Part 3 (discussion)

In Part 3, the examiner asks broader questions related to the Part 2 topic. They are not about your personal experience but about things in general. Part 3 takes 4–5 minutes. Aim for 30–50 seconds per answer.
