Short-Answer Questions
Definition
You will be asked to write a short answer from the audio. The audio will be focusing on concrete facts, such as places, times, or prices within the listening text. The word limit will be given in the instruction, such as 'NO MORE THAN THREE WORDS AND/OR A NUMBER'. If you answer more than the stated number of words, you will be penalized.
The Strategy

Matching Questions
Definition
In this kind of question, you will be required to match objects, places, etc to the features or speakers' opinion. Sometimes, you will be asked to match the first half of a sentence and the second half which is in the options.

KeyTips
- There are many distractions that possibly appear in the audio, so listen to the audio until the end before you write your answers.
- The numbered items will be in the same order as the recording. The lettered items will not. So, focus on looking at the ordered questions.
- Recheck your spelling at the end of the session.
