Plan, Map, Diagram Labeling
Definition
Task type and format: Test takers are required to complete labels on a plan (e.g. part of a building), map (e.g. part of a town) or diagram (e.g. a piece of equipment). The answers are usually selected from a list on the question paper.
Your task is to listen to the recording and identify different areas, features or rooms. You will often be given a list of words from which to choose the correct answers. If no list is given, you will have to identify the answers from the recording.

Key Tips
- Be aware with synonyms and paraphrasing
- Watch the distractor! Example: The shop next to the bakery was a newsagent but it's now been replaced by a charity shop.
- The answer come in order
- The answer should be exactly the same with the audio. Never do any improvisation!
