Definition

The Strategy

Before you listenWhile you listenAfter you listen

1. Read the instructions carefully.

2. Underline the keywords such as the objects, places, speakers, etc.

3. Think about how each option differs from each other.

1. Listen and carefully catch the keywords, synonyms, or paraphrase the options.

2. Keep listening even though you have catched the answer to anticipate that you only hear the distractor

1. Check whether you have written the answer correctly in terms of its spelling and numbers.

KeyTips

  • There are many distractions that possibly appear in the audio, so listen to the audio until the end before you write your answers.
  • The numbered items will be in the same order as the recording. The lettered items will not. So, focus on looking at the ordered questions.
